“My clients inspire me every day to continue to explore new avenues of body work, to deepen my knowledge of human anatomy, movement and connectivity, and to walk through life with more intention, awareness and gratitude. Thank you all for making me a part of your healing path. You are why I love my job!!”

ADRIEN (he/him), born and raised in the Seattle area, a graduate of Bellevue Massage school, class of 2015. I am a Licensed Massage Therapist in the state of Washington, insured through the ABMP.

I came to massage while making ceramic masks in high school. Having battled with anxiety and depression a fair bit in my teens, I gravitated heavily toward fine art as a way to soothe my mind. I was in ceramics class one day making masks. I’d roll out a slab of clay and slap it onto my face and feel out the features. Having to close my eyes and use my hands to feel out the contours of my face was incredibly soothing for me. I thought, what could I do for a living that would allow me to do this all the time? And now in my career as a massage therapist, I’ve gravitated toward ways of working that soothe anxiety, not so much for me anymore, but for the people on my table. The difference in attitude when my clients get on the table vs when they step off, is palpable. They are physically relaxed, carefree and in a much better mood than when they got on. I am incredibly grateful that I could have such a positive impact on society as I do now, even if its just one person at a time. As I continued to fine-tune my craft, my clients began commenting after their service how they wished they were already home.

Thus, The Walking Table was born.

Performing mobile massage as The Walking Table not only satiates my sense of adventure, but it also makes it possible for you to receive quality work in your home for the same prices you’d pay at a spa. The difference is, you don't have to drive anywhere, I come to you! Instead of getting re-dressed, getting your keys and pulling into heavy traffic after your massage, my service allows you to step off the table and into your robe and slippers where you can raid the fridge, take a bath, or simply go to sleep. It just makes so much more sense for me to come to you. Request a mobile service from The Walking Table today!

MASSAGE STYLE

The bulk of my experience comes from doing injury treatment therapy and insurance work. Though I still employ many of the same techniques today as I did years ago, I no longer take insurance. My massage style is a forearm heavy, deep tissue with emphasis on treatment techniques such as myofascial release, trigger point therapy as well as static/dynamic cupping with gua sha. I am best suited to work with people who are stressed out, who work at a desk, are seeking general pain management and even those who suffer from anxiety, depression and poor sleep. You will get off my table feeling way more relaxed and pain free, and in a much better mood.
